Law Admission Exams – Get Admission in Law Schools

Law Colleges andJJ Colleges allow students to apply for Law Admission Test, commonly known as LATE. The LATE examination is conducted by the Law School Admission Council, located at Christ Church University, Auckland, New Zealand. The exam can be taken at any law college in New Zealand or at any JJJ academy around the country.

The examination consists of three sections: a written section, a case study and a writing skills section. There are two types of question that appear on the examination paper, general knowledge questions and application form questions. The test taker must achieve a passing mark of at least 70% in order to pass the examination.

Students who successfully complete their Law Entry Examination will receive a Law Degree or a Certificate. The certificate is issued by the Legal Education and Training Council of New Zealand (LETC). Students can also receive a recommendation from their high school or college to appear for the final examination at the Auckland University Law School. If this recommendation is not received, then the student may apply for an examination for the Auckland University of Legal Education and Training Centre, which offers a more comprehensive program.
