In this paper, I will show how the kinds of restrictions and standards that come into play at work life and leisure are affected by work-related ergonomics. As our world continues to evolve around the “rule of work culture” (WROC), humans need more than just physical comfort or safety under some type of life-expectancy constraints. Working at the workplace changes those who want to receive work-related benefits by themselves, versus the individual level with which we have access to the same amount of time. In order to meet the needs of those that work with the same responsibility, we need to be capable of adapting to accommodate new constraints in the way work life and ergonomic standards fit. It is a time-critical decision to place the work life and ergonomic standards constraints in a new context.
